It's the final countdown!!!!!!!

Not much has been done this week which is a shame, flyscreens, taps and gas outlets installed and just a few more things to go and we are finished!

All that's left:

- Garage Door

- Air conditioning fit out

- Shower screens

- Mirrors

- Carpet

- Living/Dining tiles

- Water tank

- Hot water system

- Appliances

Our post-handover work which is booked in and ready to go – is looking a little like this:

- Driveway

- Mirror splashback

- Bathroom accessories

- Blinds

We have received a hand over date but are seriously doubting everything will get done before the date, hence why we will be keeping the date hush hush until we feel more confident it's achievable!

Tiling and lighting :D

Electrical fitout complete, looks fabulous! It's so nice being able to go though at night and have light instead of having to use the torch on our phones!

Exterior Painting :)

What a week, the painter has now completed our house with the front being finished off on Friday!
The tilers will be back next week to complete our bathrooms, laundry and main floor tiling. I must say the tiler has done a fantastic job so far, very good attention to detail! 

Benchtops and painting

Our basins and stone benchtops have been installed and I'm really happy with how good they look :) The kitchen is not to everyones taste but we just absolutely love it. Painting is finished bar from skirting and tiling will start on Tuesday.

White White and more White...

During last week the painter was working hard applying the first coat to the inside ceiling and walls. The colour is looking great and we're really happy with it. We chose Winter Ice for the walls and Elusive White for the ceiling, cornices, architraves, skirting and doors. It's amazing how different the house looks with a lick of paint!

We haven't been able to get in to see anything else that may be done, they are finishing off the tiling this week and then the painter will be back to do the second coat.

I think we may have to slip away from work during the day sometime this week to see the tiling and what else is being done. I'm starting to have withdrawals from not being able to get in!

Kitchen

Kitchen cabinetry has been installed, it's looking great :)

Bathroom tiling is underway and next week painting will begin. Hopefully will be able to get in next week and take some more pics!

Locked up and out!

So went to the house today not expecting to get in but the plasterer was there and let us through. Was pleasantly surprised to see the stairs are in and tiles delivered ready to start laying next Wednesday.

Also I received an email from Beechwood that the kitchen and vanities will be installed by the end of the week!
